BURY TOMORROW - DEATH (Ever Colder)
Share
I've had the pleasure of working with Matt King before, so when he called on the back of the Dune craze, wanting a COUNTESS headdress for it's regal, crown/halo-like, opulent and crystal-heavy aesthetic, an easy yes to jump on board and contribute to his vision for the Bury Tomorrow music video.
The headdress is inspired by Lady Gaga’s vampiric 'Countess' character from AHS: Hotel and her elegant yet complicated, old-Hollywood Glamour style. The COUNTESS is not the easiest piece to wear, as the three layering chain veils can be challenging to put on; but well worth it for the beautiful crystal frame that focuses on the eyes and lips.
Composed with a loaded metal spikes wreath with it's many crystal droplets caught in a chain web as if standing still in time, it fits perfectly with the video's 'Time Castle' concept, don't you think?
Some of my favourite stills from the video.
The headdress was executed to perfection by stylist Matt King and his flawless attention to detail! ✨ ✨ ✨

The headdress provides brilliant focus and detail to contrast the stunning, dark, eerie visuals and mood. And with over 1 million views, go check out the full video, directed by Zak Pinchin, released in March 2022.
